Anna Grace is 4!!

I can't believe my baby is 4. I feel like she has been with me forever and at the same time I feel like she was born yesterday. It is amazing to think that 4 years ago I didn't know her. She is such a big part of my life. She has changed me in so many ways and made me a better person. I am so thankful for her and am truly blessed God gave her to Thomas and me to raise. What an amazing child she is...and truly a breath of Heaven. Who knew I could feel such strong love for another person? Such amazing, selfless, sacrificial love. It is just a glimpse of the amazing love our Father in Heaven has for us. Such unconditional, agape love.

Anna Grace's birthday was on Friday, April 25th. We celebrated the life of our beautiful child all day! What a special day it was! Here are some pictures from Anna Grace's birthday.

Anna Grace dressed herself for school on this special day. She wanted to wear a pink and white striped dress with her pink polka dotted shoes. She also requested a ponytail.

I went to her school to celebrate her birthday. Here is a picture of AG putting candles on a small cake.

Here she is blowing out the candles on her cake.

Anna Grace loves popsicles, so I brought popsicles for her and her friends to enjoy!

We enjoyed lunch at Grouchos. Anna Grace wanted to eat at the "place where they put bacon and cheese on your sandwiches."

Before her party at FunDAYGo, AG wanted to eat dinner at Moes...one of her favorite Florence hotspots.

Anna Grace and Daddy enjoyed some time on the BIG slide together before her guests arrived.

Even Wyatt had a BLAST!

Everyone jumping around.

Everyone is lined up and ready to go to the party room!

The whole reason she wanted her party at FunDayGo - to sit in the throne.
Yes, she insisted she wanted to wear a dress at her party, so she changed clothes.

Anna Grace and her friend Hazel share the throne.

Happy Birthday to you!

What a sweet bunch of kids.

From Dance to School to Church to just being a special friend...each friend at the party is near and dear to Anna Grace's heart.

I love you, baby girl, and am so glad God gave you to your daddy and me.

Walker Reeves Andrews

2 Corinthians 9:15 - Thanks be to God for his indescribable gift!

Walker arrived this morning around 9:30am. Sage went into labor last night around 12:30am. She called me around 1:30am to let me know she was on her way to the hospital. She called again at 5:30am to let me know she had received her epidural and was feeling great. I was in the shower getting ready to leave when she called at 7:30am to let me know she was 8cm dilated. I left the house at 8:30am to go to the hospital and called to let her know I was on my way. She was ready to push!

I arrived at the hospital and went to the waiting room to wait around 9:00am. Sage called me in the waiting room around 9:45am to let me know Walker had arrived! He came into this world weighing 7 lbs 14 oz. He is a beautiful, healthy baby boy!

Sage and Walker are doing great!! God has blessed them once again!!

Here are some pictures from our special morning.

Fun with Nana and Big Pop

Anna Grace and Wyatt spent some time with Nana and Big Pop last week. Nana and Big Pop have started an annual tradition of taking their grandchildren with them to Pigeon Forge, TN to go to the Dixie Stampede and Dollywood. Anna Grace went last year and had a ball! Wyatt was old enough to join them this year and he had a ball! It is a fun trip that the grandchildren will enjoy and look forward to for many years.

Nana and Big Pop gave Anna Grace her birthday present before the trip - a pink digital camera to take pictures while they were there. She enjoyed taking pictures during their trip. Anna Grace told my mom, "I want to be a photographer when I grow up." Mom said, "Why wait until you grow up? You can be one now!" So AG is our new family photographer.

I plan to post some of the pictures she took from the trip in a later post. When mom and dad returned home to Greenville with the kids, they realized they had left the camera in TN. The good news is they were able to call the Bass Pro Shop (where they left the camera), and the shop is mailing the camera to them. So, we should have the camera back this weekend.

Here are some fun pictures I took when I went to Greenville to pick the kids up. My parents yard is amazing and looks so beautiful this time of year. I had my wedding portrait made in their yard and this time of year always reminds me of that.

Cheese, Aunt Kayne...

Strike a pose - Sweet Wyatt...trying to act like he doesn't see me taking his picture.

Anna Grace enjoys riding her trike at Nana and Big Pop's house. She never rides it at our house.

Woa! Wyatt catch me!

Swinging with Wyatt and Big Pop...is there anything better than this?

First trip to the Dentist

Anna Grace went to the dentist this morning for the first time. I wasn't sure how she would handle it. You never know what the mind of a 4 year old is thinking. They can come across as excited and then freak out at the last minute, or be calm and collected and then start crying....you just never know. So I didn't know what to expect of this appointment. One thing I have learned about my child is not to make a big deal of things - it puts pressure on her and she can't handle it. So I didn't talk much about the dentist appointment until today. I told her this morning we were having a special day together - which included going to the dentist to get our teeth cleaned! She was excited about it and ready to go!

Mommy! I dressed myself and am ready to go to the dentist!

When we went back to the "teeth cleaning" room, Anna Grace told the dental hygienist, "I don't have any cavities. I just pinch my tongue a little bit when I am at birthday parties and it hurts." I guess she was trying to tell the dental hygienist that that the only pain she feels in her mouth is the pain of biting her tongue.

I am ready - AHHHHH!

Anna Grace got to wear her own pair of gloves...just like the dental hygienist.

Mrs. Tammy is carefully telling Anna Grace she is about to brush her teeth.

Dr. Messier comes in to count Anna Grace's teeth and see if she has any cavities.
Her teeth look good!

All done!

Anna Grace did so well! I was very proud of her today.
Mrs. Roxie even took an x-ray of her teeth - and her teeth look great!
My baby is growing up! She amazes me every day. I love her and am a proud mother!
