Happy 100th Birthday, Pop!

Anna Grace's great-grandfather turned 100 on November 13th. We celebrated his wonderful life with a birthday party in Greenville at First Baptist Church five days later on November 18th. Mrs. Anderson did a wonderful job planning the party. It was so special and nice. She served Pop's favorite desserts....strawberry cake, lemon squares and banana pudding. Here are some pictures of the yummy desserts.

Dr. Marion Thomas Anderson, or Pop as we call him, was a principal and then the superintendent of Greenville country schools. He is a well respected man. Everyone always tells us a wonderful story about him. We enjoy hearing them!

Mrs. Anderson displayed many yearbooks from Greenville High School, pictures from Pop's life and many newspaper articles and awards he has recently received. It was such an honor to be there and be able to celebrate such a wonderful man's life. I am glad Anna Grace has had the opportunity to meet him too. Here are a few more pictures from the event.

It's a tie! Do you like it, Pop?
